Fruit Smoothie
When I cut up fruits and do not use them all I place the leftover portion in a freezer bag and freeze them for making smoothies later on. Last time I made fruits on a stick (see here) I had a few fruits left over that I froze so this morning I made them into a smoothie for breakfast to serve with cooked Irish steel cut oats. If you don’t have your own then use store bought frozen fruits, they are just as good. I happened to have mango juice in the fridge so I used it as part of the liquid together with a little orange juice and almond milk. It was thick and refreshing so I thought I’d share.
Serves 4-6
Ingredients:
1 cup mango juice
1 cup orange juice
1 cup almond milk
2 cups frozen fruits (banana, strawberries, mango, pineapple)
Directions:
Place juices and almond milk in a blender.
Add frozen fruits and process until smooth. thin it out with more juice or almond milk to reach the desired consistency.
Serve chilled, in tall glasses.

Just made this for myself with a quarter of the ingredients and it is delicious, however very large.
You should probably add that your recipe serves 5-7 people
Hi Andrew, thanks for the comment. Yes it is a “group” recipe. I will mention it in the notes. Glad you liked it though. Ciao, Dina.
These looked so delicious that I featured the on my Friday Five Breakfast over at Feed Your Soul – http://chefpeterskitchen.blogspot.com/2012/10/friday-five-breakfast.html
